Lake Siskiyou Camp Resort FAQs

Check-in begins at 1:00 p.m. for tent, RV and group sites, and at 3:00 p.m. for cabins and houses. Checkout is 11:00 a.m. for all accommodation types.

Early arrival and late departure may be available depending on occupancy and operational needs. Additional charges may apply. Contact the Gatehouse on your arrival or departure day to ask about available options.

You can check in at the Gatehouse near the resort entrance. If you complete electronic express check-in through Canary, you can follow the instructions sent to you and go directly to your site or cabin without stopping at the Gatehouse. Keep your arrival instructions available during your trip.

The guest checking in must be at least 18 years old and have a valid ID.

Use our online reservation system to view rates and availability for your dates and accommodation type. Review the reservation details and applicable terms before completing your booking.

For standard direct reservations, cancellations made at least 72 hours before arrival are subject to a $20 cancellation fee. Cancellations made within 72 hours of arrival forfeit the deposit. Non-refundable rates, special offers, holiday stays and third-party reservations may have different terms. Review your booking confirmation for the terms that apply to your reservation.

If you booked through a third-party travel website, contact that provider to request a change or cancellation. The terms shown in your booking confirmation apply.

A site-lock option is available when booking. Review the option and current charge during the reservation process. Without a site lock, your assigned site may change. Contact the resort if you have questions about a particular site or accommodation.

Choose from cabins and houses, RV sites and tent sites. Features, capacity and parking vary by accommodation and site. Review the listing for your selected stay before booking.

RV sites have a maximum occupancy of six people. Confirm your party size and any extra-person charges when booking.

Cabin and house stays do not include space for an additional tent or RV. Reserve the appropriate tent or RV site for those accommodations.

The resort does not provide cribs, portable play yards or rollaway beds. Bring the sleeping supplies your child will need.

Pets are welcome in permitted accommodations and designated pet-friendly areas. Pets are not allowed on the beach. Pet fees apply; contact the resort before booking to confirm the fee and restrictions for your accommodation. Keep pets leashed and under control, clean up after them and do not leave them outside unattended.

Vehicle limits depend on the size of your site. The general maximum is two vehicles, with different arrangements for group sites. Contact the resort before arrival if you are bringing extra or oversized vehicles. Park only in designated spaces and keep roads clear.

Yes. Day-use admission is $3 per person, per day, for visitors aged 11 and older. Passes are available at the gate. Day-use access includes the beach, marina, dining and rental areas during their operating hours. Rentals and purchases are separate from admission. Registered overnight guests receive day-use access as part of their reservation.

Yes. Register at the Gatehouse when you arrive. Day visitors are subject to a $3 day pass, and overnight visitors are subject to a $5 extra-person fee. Contact the resort to arrange an overnight visitor, confirm the total charge and check the occupancy limit for the reserved accommodation.

View the resort map online. Printed maps are available at the Gatehouse on request, large maps are displayed around the property, and the QR code on the back of your car tag provides easy access to the map. Use the map to locate restrooms and other facilities. Restroom access codes are provided only to registered guests.

Beach hours are 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. There is no lifeguard on duty; swim at your own risk. Pets, fires and grills are not permitted on the beach. Take your belongings with you when you leave, and remove all items by 8:00 p.m. Contact the resort before visiting for current access information.

Yes, you may bring your own boat. There is no separate launch fee; day visitors pay the standard day-use admission. Contact the resort for current boat registration, marina parking and mooring arrangements before bringing your boat.

Boats and boat trailers must use the designated marina parking area rather than guest sites or cabin parking. Register your boat with the marina team and confirm the parking arrangements before arrival.

The lake speed limit is 10 mph, and jet skis are not permitted. Follow posted lake and marina rules, and contact the resort before arrival about any requirements for your boat.

Seasonal options include boat, kayak and paddleboard rentals, dock moorings and the Splash Zone. Availability depends on the season, water levels and operating conditions. Visit Rentals & Moorings for current options, prices, booking information and closures.

The resort offers dining, snacks, beverages and convenience items at locations around the property. Options include Lake Sis Grill & Brew, the General Store and seasonal beach concessions. The General Store carries camping supplies, snacks and convenience items. Contact the resort for current store hours and product availability.

Wi-Fi is available in most public areas and select accommodations. Network information and passwords are provided at check-in. Contact the resort if you need help connecting or want to ask about coverage for your stay.

Enjoy fishing, hiking, playgrounds, beach access and seasonal lake rentals. Seasonal activities and live music may also be available. Check the Activities Calendar and Rentals & Moorings for options during your visit. Availability varies by season and operating conditions.

Our Snack Shack is packed full of cold drinks (and even colder frozen treats) as well as snacks, floaties, rafts, sunscreen, and more. However, it is currently closed for the winter season and will re-open in April 2027.

Pack lighting for after dark, weather-appropriate clothing, sturdy shoes, sun protection, insect repellent and supplies for your chosen accommodation. Bring any beach, fishing or camping gear you plan to use, along with sleeping supplies for children.

Quiet hours run from 10:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m. Generators may not be used during that time. Keep music and other noise low so nearby guests can rest.

Drive no faster than 15 mph on the main resort road and 5 mph elsewhere on the property. Watch for pedestrians, children and pets. Electric golf carts require a licensed driver; gas vehicles must be street legal. ATVs and OTVs are not permitted.

E-bikes and electric scooters may not be used on the property. Drone flights are also prohibited.

Check with the resort for current fire restrictions before lighting a fire. When fires are permitted, use only the provided fire ring, leave it in its original location and never leave a fire unattended. Fully extinguish the fire and make sure it is cold before leaving or checking out.

Bears live in the Lake Siskiyou area. Secure food and scented items when not in use, keep your site clean and place garbage in the designated bear-resistant dumpsters. Never feed wildlife or leave food or trash outside. Let the Gatehouse know if a dumpster is full.

Weapons and fireworks are prohibited. Do not climb, cut or decorate trees, or attach hammocks, clotheslines, lights or other items to them. Review our Terms & Conditions and the rules provided with your reservation for additional property policies.
