There’s a lot of adventure and fun at Lake Siskiyou and we’re glad you’re here to experience it. Thanks in advance for reviewing our policies.  We don’t like rules either but following these few guidelines will ensure an enjoyable experience for all our guests.

Policies & Resort Details

Day Use passes are available, paid at the gate upon entry and limited to daylight hours and public use areas only. $3/per person over the age of 11 per day. Must register to an individual site if visiting another guest, $5 Visitor Tag. 

Visit all Season with a Season Pass: Available at the Gate $30.00 for Single Pass or  $60.00 for Family Pass. Seasonal pass holders must stop at the gate daily for parking pass.

Check in times: For cabins, houses and trailers: 3pm. For tent, RV and group sites: 1pm.

Check out is 11am. Late check out after 11am, will be charged. No exceptions. Late check out will be charged one night reservation fee. Site/rental unit left unclean or damaged, including pet messes: minimum of $50. Lost rental unit keys: $25 each. All fires must be completely out and cold upon departure or will be charged $75 fee.

Registering guests must be 21 years of age with valid credit card or valid picture ID. Payment is accepted with Visa, Master Card, Discover, American Express or Cash. No checks accepted.

No refunds for early check-out.

Reservation deposits pay for the first night only of stay. If not checked-in by 11am the second day of the reservation the hold is released, canceled and no refund issued.

Reservation confirmation is finalized a few days prior to your arrival in your pre-arrival email. This will offer you the option of EXPRESS check-in to expedite your check in at the Gate. Please verify accuracy of your reservation. Management reserves the right to change your unit number if necessary.

Reservations may be changed to different dates (within the boundaries of the cancellation policy) but must be used by the end of that season year.

All final changes to any site reservations should be made by 24 hours in advance of arrival date by 1pm.

Reservation rates (except for group sites) include the first two adults (aged 11 and older) and the first vehicle. The fee for additional adults is $5 per person/per night. Additional vehicles are charged $5 per vehicle/per night. Boats on trailers are charged $5 per night. Boats must be registered upon arrival and parked at Marina. No jet skis. Lake speed limit is 10mph.

Advance reservations are accepted as a courtesy to our guests one year in advance. If price and/or policies change between the date the reservation was made and check in date, the new policies are prices will apply. No grandfathering offered.

All cabins, houses and trailers require a 15-day notice to receive any refund. All other sites require a 8-day notice. Cancellations made outside of these parameters will not be issued a refund on deposit. All cancellations are charged an $8.50 fee. No refund for early departure. No refund for no-show or missed reservations. No refund given for weather.

We are a pet friendly campground. The fee for pets is $2.00 per pet/per night at camp and RV sites, $20 per pet/per night in only the Marina Cabins, Bear’s Lair and Marina House. County Ordinance #5 requires all domestic pets be leashed at ALL times. Pets are not to be left unattended. No traditionally-categorized aggressive breeds (pit bull, doberman, rottweilers, chow, wolf, or any mixes of these) are allowed in the campground. Pets are not allowed at Beach or Picnic areas. Must clean up after your pet.

Be Aware – We do have bears in the area! Lake Siskiyou area is home to black bears with amazing sense of smell. Proper food storage and awareness are essential to preserve wildlife and the safety for yourself and those around you. “Food” can include any item with a scent including toiletries and perfumes, regardless of packaging. These “food” items need to be stored properly. It is best to store food items in a vehicle trunk or out of sight with windows closed. Keep your site free of food and trash, utilizing the bear dumpsters throughout the property. Please report a full dumpster to the front gate. Do not leave trash on top of or on the ground near a dumpster. Do not attempt to burn any excess food or leave food out. If you experience a bear encounter keep a safe distance and let the bear pass backing away slowly. Make your presence known. Never feed bears. Thank you for participating in preserving our wildlife. Failure to comply will result in expulsion with no refund.

2 vehicle (includes RV) per site (1 per small cabin, 2 per large cabin). Vehicles including RV must fit in site, not on road or outside of site. All tires must be on asphalt in campsites. Overflow parking is located in and around the campground for such use. Day use guests are to park in overflow parking only. No boat or trailer parking at sites or cabins. Must register with the Gate for a Marina tag and park in the Marina parking lot.

NO Firearms allowed on property.

NO Bow & Arrow or Slingshots allowed.

NO Fireworks.

NO Clothes lines or hammocks attached to trees anywhere on property. No leads/leashes attached to trees. You may use stand alone hammocks within your site.

NO Generator use.

NO Noise during quiet hours: 10pm to 7am.

NO Speeding is strictly enforced. Sheriff’s will fine. Campground roads: 15mph. Camping Zones: 5mph Lake: 10mph.

NO Skateboards, razor scooters, hover boards, ATVs/OHVs or motorized bikes allowed.

NO Pets allowed on the beach or in picnic areas. Do NOT leave pets unattended in a site or vehicle. Emergency services will be called at pet owners expense.

NO Fires or Grills allowed on the beach. Small BBQ areas near the beach are first come first served. Large BBQ area may be reserved/rented at least 24hrs prior and subject to availability.

NO Tents allowed on rental unit sites – 1 shade/pop-up tent allowed on RV sites, Must fit within the site. No tarps/ropes attached to trees.

NO Moving picnic tables from other sites. One table is provided per site.

We are family friendly and have a zero tolerance abuse policy. This includes verbal abuse or threats of violence towards any guests or employees before, during or after your stay.

Only unaltered, official American flags may be flown on national holidays, raised no higher than one’s RV. No flags are permitted in tent or cabin areas.

Violators will be asked to leave and NO REFUNDS ISSUED.

Management reserves the right to change site numbers as needed. Prices are subject to change.

Hike & Bike

Hike or bike the Lake Siskiyou Trail. This 7 mile loop offers views of the lake, Mt. Shasta, and surrounding mountains. *Dogs must be on leash at all times and are not allowed at the beach & picnic areas.

Lake Siskiyou offers a unique ‘small’ lake region fishing experience like no other. With incredible preservation and fish pen programs supported by the Mt. Shasta USS Rotary, anglers of all ages will be delighted with a chance to catch a world-class fish without traveling to Alaska.

Open May 26th thru Labor Day* – lake level dependent. Visit the beach area for the roped-off swim area, hourly Stand up Paddle board and kayak rentals or play on the Splash Zone inflatable toys. Splash Zone is a ticketed entry. Must have valid ID to sign waiver. Provided life jacket must be worn at all times. See waiver for complete rules and fees. First come first served no reservations available for Splash Zone, Stand up Paddle boards or Kayaks.
